Deposition of Witnesses taken at the
Parish of Saint Saviour within the
Borough of Southwark in the County of
Surrey this 29th: day of January 1793
on view of the Body of William Jacob< no role > the [..] lder
now here lying Dead

William Tuck< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty< no role > 's new Gaol
for the County of Surrey maketh Oath that he hath known
the deced William Jacobs< no role > the Elder about six Weeks that
he was also a Prisoner in the said Gaol the he hath been
ill the whole of that time-that he complained very
much of a violent pain in his Stomach-that he hath
been in the Sick Ward about four Weeks, of that time
that he appeared to waste away and get worse daily
until this Morning about three OClock when he departed
this Life that he was attended by the Surgeon of the
said Gaol during his illness
