Deposition of a Witness taken at London
that is to say, at the Parish of Christ Church
in the Ward of Farringdon within in
London aforesaid the 28th day of January
1793 on view of the Body of Augustine
a Black Man now here lying dead

John Radenhurst< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty< no role > 's Gaol
of Newgate maketh Oath that he hath known the deced
Augustine about three Weeks that he was also a
Prisoner in the said Gaol that he hath been in the
Sick Ward Where Dept. attends there nine days
past very ill with a Fever that he continued very
ill until this Morning about six OClock when he
departed thus Life that he was attended by the
Surgeon of the said Gaol and Dept. has no doubt
the aforesaid Complaint occasioned the deceds
