Deposition of a Witness taken at London
that is to say at the Parish of Christ Church
in the Ward of Farringdon within in London
aforesaid the 26th. day of December 1792
on view of the body of John Billings< no role >
now here lying Dead

John Redenhurst< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty< no role > 's Gaol
of Newgate maketh Oath that he hath known the deced
John Billings< no role > between five and six weeks that he was
also a Prisoner in the said Gaol that the has been in the
Sick Ward where Dept. about five Days very ill with
a Fever that he continued to get worse daily until
Monday Evening last when he departed this Life
that he was attended by the Surgeon of the Gaol
and Dept has no doubt the aforesaid disorder occasion
the deceds death.
