East India Company and a Lodger at No.16 Primrose
Street Bishopsgate Street London maketh Oath That
about Five OClock on Friday Evening last Dept. being in
her own Room in said Home up tow pair of Stain she
heard something fall on the Floor over hear head it faling
heavy Dept. went down Stairs to Mr. Smart the wife of
the deced and acquainted her of the Noise she had heard
upon which Mr. Smart seemed alarmed and immediately
ran up Stairs and Dept. followed her upon going into the
Garret of the said house they found Deced being on the
Floor of the Room with a Piece of Cord round his Neck
which [..] appeared to have broke from some other piece and
upon looking up Dept. saw another piece of ford hanging
from an iron hook in one of the beam of the Room That the
deced was quite dead when Dept. went to him - That the
deced for about a Week previous theaves had been very ill with
a Fever and [..] appeared in a very low ill state [..]
