maketh Oath that about the fifteenth or sixteenth of July last
Dept. was sent for to attend the Deceased that Dept. went
to a house in Spread Eagle Court Threadneedle Street Kept by
one Sommersthat upon going to a two pair of Stairs Room
of said House Dept. found the deced lying upon a Bed in the
Room in an insensible state that Dept. made use of the usual
means to bring the deced to that in about ten Minutes she recovered
upon he recovery she appeared very much agitated That the
Husband of the decedMrs. Sommers and some other persons were
in the RoomDept. asked the persons in the Room if the deced and
subject to Fits Mrs. Sommers sayed that the never knew her Subject to Fits but that the deced was subject
to drinking and that the believed the cause of her then being in
that state was owing to her haveing drank to muchDept. left
the deced and on his going home he sent the deced some
Medicine Dept. saw the deced the next Morning and found
her sensible and better but still remained extremely ill
which Dept. attributed to some excess Dept. continued to
attend the deced until the latter end of July that she
continued very ill and confined to her Roomthat during
the time Dept. attended the deced from the information he deced
before received of the deced being subject to drinking he reasoned
with her upon the subject that the deced acknowledged she was
guilty of doing so but that for the future he would drink nothing
but Porter but she was apprehensive it would some day
occasion her Death that when ever Dept. attended the deced
he observed she was afflicted with a narrow complaint and
appeared very much agitated that Dept. has seen the deced
several time during the beginning of this Month that she appeared
quite recovered from her illnessThat between the hours
of ten & Eleven in the Night of Saturday last the [..] husband
of the deced come to Dept. and requested him to go with him
& take him Lancet for that he was afraid it was to late that
he was afraid the she would be dead (meang. as Dept thought
