Surgery Room of the Hospital where Dept. left him
that Dept. saw the deced in one of the Wards of the Hospital
about twelve O Clock on Saturday last that at the time
Dept. first locked the deced up as before stated he looked
very wild and seemed very much agitated that after Dept.
had left the deced at the Hospital he returned to the
Watchhouse for the purpose of looking after the instrument
he supposed the deced had cut his Throat with that in
the Room where the decedwashad been locked up he found
a Small Penknife openthat the Knife lay under a Bench in the Room in the blood
where Dept. [..] had moved the deced from when he was taken to the Hospital that before
Dept. took the deced to the Hospital he [..] reached him
& found upon him several Papersa Pocket Almonock a
Pr. of Scipers-or Silver Pencil Casethree Keys
a snuff Box and Seventeen Shillings & three pence
three forth [..] Money.

Southwark maketh Oath that about a quarter before
Eleven O Clock on Tuesday Night last theDept.deced came
to the said Inn and asked for a Bed and sayed he
was recommended there by a Mr. William Balland< no role >
Month Street London Inn KeeperDept. told him he might
have a Bed therethat about half an hour afterwards
Dept. lighted the deced up Stairs to a Bed in a one pair of
Stairs front Room wherein was mother Bed Upon Depts.
leaving the deced he sayed he should not got up in the
Morning till Nine or half an hour after Dept. having some
suspicion of the deced got up between four & five the next
Morning and upon hearing something moving in the Room
where the deced slept, he went up to the Room [..]
of widing the deced there and discovering [..] that
the Streets and Pillow case of the Bed the deced had lain on were not on
the Bedupon whichDept. went to look at the deced
that he could not find himthat in a little time after
Dept. returned to the deceds Room and found the deced
Standing up between the two Beds in the Room with
