in the thirty second Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of
God of Great Britain France and Ireland King defender of the Faith and so forth before Thomas

lawful men of the Parish and Ward aforesaid who being now here duly chosen Sworn and
charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in what manner the said

came to his death say upon their Oath that the said

on the Sixteenth
day of March in the Year aforesaid being Riding on a Certain Horse along and through a
certain open place called Smithfield
and a certain person whose name is unknown being riding
on certain Grey Horse along and through the said open place It so happened that the said Grey
Horse accidentally casually and by Misfortune man to and against the Horse whereon the said James
Hill was riding as aforesaid by means whereof the said

was then and there thrown from and off
the said Horse to and against the Ground there and the said Horse whereon the said
James Hill< no role >
was
riding as aforesaid was also thrown to and against the Ground and upon and over the said James
Hill by means whereof the said

did then and there receive divers Mortal wounds and
bruises in and upon the Head face Nick Back Belly Sides Arms Legs Thighs and other parts of
the Body of him the said

of which said Mortal Wounds and bruises the said
James Hill< no role >
did then and there die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the
said

in manner and by the means aforesaid casually and by Misfortune was accidentally
Killed and that the said Horse whereon the said

was Riding as aforesaid was moving
to the death of the said
James Hill< no role >
and is of the price of five Shillings and the property and in
the possession of a certain person or persons unknown In Witness whereof as well the said
Coroner
as the said

and the rest of his Fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition Set their Hands
