An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King as the Parish of
Saint and Black Friars in the Ward of Farringdon without in London aforesaid on the Sixteenth day of
March in the thirty Second Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of
Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and soforth Before Thomas Shelton< no role >
Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King for the City of London and Borough of Southwark
on view of the Body of Mary Hollier< no role > now here lying dead by the Oath of John Hutchins< no role > , William

< no role > Thomas Greg< no role > , Isaac Hately< no role > , David Maclouchlan< no role > , Henry Groves< no role > William Edmunds< no role > , William
Mason
< no role > James Harrison< no role > , Charles Sales< no role > , Richard Fentum< no role > , Thomas Freeman< no role > , John Bearley< no role > , and
Ralph Mylde< no role > , good and lawful men the Parish and Ward aforesaid who being now here
duly Chosen Sworn and Charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when how in what manner
the said Mary Hollier< no role > came to her death say upon their Oath that the said Mary Hollier< no role > not being
of Sound mind Memory and understanding but Lunatic and distracted on the Fifteenth day of March
in the Year aforesaid as the Parish and Ward aforesaid in London aforesaid one end of a certain
piece of Silk Ribbon of no value unto and about a certain Rod belonging to a Bedstead in the dwelling
House of one William Bloxam< no role > there situate and the other end of the said piece of Ribbon round and
about her own Neck then and there did fix tye and fasten by means whereof she the said mary Hollier< no role >
did then and there hang Strangle and Suffocate herself of which said Hanging Strengling and Suffocation
She the said Mary Hollier< no role > did then and there die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid
do say that the said Mary Hollier< no role > not being of Sound Mind Memory and understanding but lunatic
and distracted in manner and by the means aforesaid did hang and Kill herself In Witness
where of as well she said Coroner as the said John Hutchings< no role > she Foreman of the said Jurors on behalf
of himself and the Rest of his Fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition set their Hands
and Seals she Day Year and Place First above Written.
