Informations of Witnesses
taken at the precinct of Bridewell
Hospital in the ward of Farringdon
without in London aforesaid on
he 14th day of April 1792 on view of
the Body of John Rummage< no role >

Thomas Patrick< no role > an Apprentice to Mr. William Gilbert< no role > of
the Old Barge House in the Parish of Saint Mary Lambeth
in the County of Surrey Lighterman maketh Oath that
about ½ part ten O Clock Yesterday Morning Dept. passing
over Blackfriars Bridge saw the body of some person
floating in the Water near Blackfryars Stairs in the [..]
precinct of Bridewell Hospital Dept. immediate
went down to Blackfriar Stairs andupon getting
went to the body discover'd it to be a Lad Dept. called
to two other persons who came to Dept. and assisted
Dept in getting the deced into a Barge laying close to
the Stairs and left him therethe deced had all his
Cloath on but no Hatthat he did not appear to have
been long in the Water.
