An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London that is to say
at the parish of Saint Bartholomew the less in the ward of Farringdon without in London aforesaid on the twenty
eighth day of July in the thirty second year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the
Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King defender of the faith and so forth before
Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman Coroner for our said Lord the King for the City of London and Borough of
Southwark on view of the Body of John Wyall< no role > now here lying dead by the Oath of Richard Thompson< no role >
John Yeates< no role > , George Noone, William Burnsted, Joseph Calvert< no role > , John Castle< no role > , Joseph Hunt< no role > , John Blackett< no role >
John Jones< no role > , John Dolphin< no role > , Henry Witherhead< no role > , Ralph Monk< no role > , William Morss, and Prince Edward< no role >
King, good and lawful men of the City of London who being now here duly chosen sworn and
charged to inquire for our Lord the King when how and in what manner the said John Wyatt< no role > came to
death say upon their Oath that the said John Wyatt< no role > on the twenty seventh day of July in the year
aforesaid being in a certain two pair of stairs room belonging to one Samuel Hutchins< no role > situate in the parish of Saint
Luke in the County of Middlesex and being near to the window of the said room It so happened that
the said John Wyatt< no role > accidentally casually and by misfortune fell from and out of the said
Window into the street and to and upon the stone pavement there [..] by means whereof he the
said John Wyatt< no role > die then and there receive one mortal wound and contusion in and upon the head
of him the said John Wyatt< no role > of which said mortal wound and contusion the said John Wyatt< no role > of the
said from the said twenty seventh day of July in the year aforesaid untilonthe twenty [..]
day of the same month of July and in the year aforesaid
as well at the said parish of Saint
Luke [..] the County of Middlesex as also at the said parish of Saint Bartholomew the less
in the ward aforesaid did languish and languishing did live on which said twenty Seventh
day of July in the year aforesaid at the parish last aforesaid in theandWard aforesaid in London aforesaid the said
John Wyatt< no role > of the said mortal fracture and Contusion did die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon
their Oath aforesaid do say that the said John Wyatt< no role > in Manner and by the means aforesaid casually
and by misfortune was accidentally killed In Witness whereof as well the said Coroner as
the said Richard Thompson< no role > the Goreman of the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his fellows in their presence
have to this Inquisition set their hands and seals the day the day year and place first above
written.
