aforesaid on the fifteenth day of November
in the thirty second Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the third by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King

and lawful Men of the City of London
aforesaid who being now here duly chosen sworn and charged
to Inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in What manner the said Male Child came to
his death say upon their Oath that a certain Woman whose Name to the Jurors aforesaid is
as Yet unknown then lately before being big with a certain Male Child the said Male Child alone
and secretly from her body by the Providence of God then lately before did bring forth alive And that a
certain person or persons to the Jurors aforesaid unknown not having the fear of God before his her or their
Eyes but being moved and seduced by the instigation of the Devil on a certain day then lately before at
London
(that is to say) at the Parish and Ward aforesaid in and upon the said Male Child in the
peace of God and our said Lord the King then and there being feloniously wilfully and of his her or
their malice afore thought did make an assault And that the said person or persons unknown
the Navel String of the said Male Child so then lately before born of the body of the said Woman whose Name
is unknown feloniously wilfully and of his her or their Malice aforethought did so negligently carelessly
and improperly tye that the said Male Child by reason of such negligent careless and improper
tying of the said Navel String became and was mortally Sick and diseased in his body of which said
Mortal Sickness and disease the said Male Child did languish and languishing did live for the
space of three days then next following When the said Male Child of the said Mortal Sickness and
disease did die And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said persons or
persons unknown the said Male Child in manner and by the means aforesaid Feloniously Wilfully and
of his her and their malice aforethought did kill and Murder against the peace of our said Lord the King his
Crown and Dignity And that the said person or persons unknown at the time of committing the
Felony and Murder aforesaid or at any time since had not nor any or either of then any Goods or Chattel Lands or
Tenements within the City of London
or elsewhere to the knowledge of the said Jurors In Witness whereof as well
the said Coroner as the said
