Depositions of Witnesses taken at London
that is to say at the Parish of Christ Church
in the Ward of Farringdon within in London
aforesaid the 25th. day of November 1790 on
view of the Body of Nicholas Carter< no role > now here
lying Dead.

Thomas Brown< no role > - a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of Newgate
maketh Oath that he hath known the deced Nicholas Carter< no role > between
four and five Months. that he was also a Prisoner in the said
Gaol - That he came into the Sick Ward where Deponent attends
on the 1st. day of October last very ill with a Fever attended with a
decline or Consumption - that he got the better of the Fever but
continued ill of the decline - that he continued to do waste away
daily until Yesterday afternoon when he departed this Life
that he was attended by the Surgeon of the said Gaol and Dept
has no doubt the decline occasioned the deceds death.
