Informations of witnesses taken as the parish of
Saint Bartholomew the Great in the Ward
of Farringdon without in London the 1st. day
of June 1790 on view of the body of Sarah
Curtis

Mary Jones< no role > wife of Thomas Jones< no role > of Kings land Road
Middlesex labourer maketh oath that yesterday sennight about
nine o'Clock in the eve. Dept saw the deced returning from a public
house to cross the highway in Kingsland road -that the deced came
down the steps of the public house and stepped off the footway into
the public road jud before a Coach and horses that was driving very
Past, [..] galloping; that one of the horses beat her down and [..]
she screamed out violently, and then the Coachman drove on at a great
rate. That the deced was taken up and put into a Coach and coudlyed
as Depts belives to Saint Bartholomews Hospital .

Sarha Ball of Kingsland road Middlesex Minster
maketh oath that yesterday sennight between 8 9 in the eve
Dept saw a Coach and pair of Storses come along the road towards London;
it was driving a middling pace, the horses not galloping; that the heard
a sereaming, and afterwards the Coach went on very fast and the horses
galloped, and Dept immediately ran into the highway and found the deced
lying upon the highway, say me of her arms appeared to have been much
hurt.
