and lawful men of the Borough aforesaid in the County aforesaid who beeing now here duly charen sworn
and charged to inquire for our said Lord the King when how and after that manner the said

came to his death say upon their Oath that the said

on the sixteenth day of
February in the Year aforesaid being in and on board a certain Vessell called a Lighter then lying in the
River Thomas It so happened that the said

in attempting and endeavouring to fix and
fasten a certain Rope of and belonging to the Said Lighter unto and about the head of a certain other Vessell
then also lying in the said River Thames
and near unto the said Lighter accidentally casually and by
misfortune did fall from and out of the said Lighter into the said River Thames
and in and with the waters of
the said River was then and there suffocated and drowned of which said saffocation and drowning he the

did then and there die and so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say
that the said

in manner and by the means aforesaid casually and by misfortune was
suffocated and Drowned In Witness wherof as well the said Coroner as the said
