Depositions of Witnesses taken at London
that is to say at the Parish of Christ Church
in the Ward of Farringdon within in London
aforesaid the 12th. day of January 1790 on view
of the Body of Charles Jones< no role > then and there
lying Dead

Thomas Brown< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of Newgate
maketh Oath that he hath known the deced Charles Jones< no role >
about five Weeks that he was also a Prisoner in the said
Gaol that he hath been in the Sick Ward where Deponent
attends the whole of that time very ill [..] Fever that he
continued very ill until Yesterday Morning when he departed
this Life that he was attended by the Surgeon of the said Gaol
and Dept. has no doubt the aforesaid disorder occasioned his
Death
