Depositions of Witnesses taken at the
Parish of Christ Church in the Ward of
Farringdon within in London the 9th: day
of January 1790 on view of the Body of
John Adams< no role > then and there lying dead

Thomas Brown< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of
Newgate maketh Oath that he hath known the deced
John Adams< no role > about a Monththat he was also
a Prisoner in the said Gaol that he hath been in the Sick
Ward where Deponent attends about nine Days very
ill with a Fever that he continued very ill until
Yesterday Afternoon when he departed this Life that he
was attended by the Surgeon of the said Gaol and Dept
has no doubt the aforesaid disorder occasioned the deced
Death
