Depositions of Witnesses taken at London
that is to say, at the Parish of Christ Church
in the Ward of Farringdon within in London
aforesaid the 8th. day of January 1790 on view
of the Body of Thomas Leeves otherwise
South all then and there lying Dead

Thomas Brown< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of Newgate
maketh Oath that he hath known the deced Thomas Lewes< no role > als Southall
between three and four Weeksthat he was also a Prisoner in the said
Gaol that he hath been in the Sick Ward where Dept. attends
about sixteen Days ill with the Small Pay that he continued
very ill until Yesterday Afternoon when he departed this
Life that he was attended by the Surgeon of the said Gaol
And Dept. has no doubt the aforesaid disorder occasioned
the deceds Death
