Depositions of Witnesses taken at
London, that is to say, at the Parish of
Christ Church in the Ward of Farringdon
within London the 14th. day of December
1789 on view of the Body of John Harper< no role >
then and there lying Dead

Thomas Brown< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol
of Newgate maketh Oath that he hath known the
deced John Harper< no role > about six Months that he was also
a Prisoner in the said Gaol that he hath been in the
Sick Ward where Dept. attends a fortnight very ill with
a Fever that he continued very ill until Yesterday
Morning when he departed this Life that he was
attended by the Surgeon of the said Gaol and Dept
has no doubt the aforesaid disorder caused his Death
