Depositions of Witnesses taken at London
that is to say, at the Parish of saint Sepulchre
in the Ward of Farringdon without in
London aforesaid the 7th day of November
1789 on view of the Body of Elizabeth Rice< no role >
then and there lying Dead

Dorothy Wilkie< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of
Newgate maketh Oath that she hath Known the deceased
Elizabeth Rice< no role > about five Monthsthat she was also
a Prisoner in the said Gaol that she hath been in the Sick
Ward where Dept. attends this Fortnight past very ill with
a Fever that she continued very ill until Yesterday
Thursday Night last when she departed this Life that
she was attended by the Surgeon of the said Gaol and
Dept. has no doubt. but the aforesaid aid disorder was the cause
of her Death
