Depositions of Witnesses taken at London
that is to say, at the Parish of Saint Bridget
otherwise Bridge in the Ward of Farringdon
without in London aforesaid the 6th: day of
October 1789 on view of the Body of Charles
Hart then and there lying Dead

Richard Budd< no role > of Chatham Place Black Friars London
[..] Doctor of Physic maketh Oath and saith that he was
sent for [..] on Thursday last the 1st: instt. to attend a Mr.
Hart in the Fleet Prison, that he accordingly attended on the
deced in the Fleet Prison between the hours of three and four on
the same Day that he found the deceased in a great degree ofhighand
scarcely sensible that he ordered some Medicines for him
and a Blister and his Feet to befomented that he saw him
again the next Morning Friday the 2nd instt. that the appeared
some what better and quieter then the day before that he saw
him again on the Saturday Morning following that he appeared
to the worse that Dept. has not seen him since having been
informed he was Dead That Dept appearhends the Fever to have
been so violent as to have been the cause of his Death

Wiliam Farley< no role > of Holborn London Apothecary maketh Oath
and saith that he was sent for Monday Sennight to the Fleet
Prison to attend the deced. that he accordingly attened the
deced that he had a bad Cough that he attended him again
last Wednesday that his Cough was worse and a difficulty of
breathing that he attended him again on Thursday last and
found him in the same State as described by Doctor Budd
in which State he continued until the Saturday Morning last
and Dept. has not seen him since but on his attending on Sunday
Morning last he was informed of the deced's. Death and Dept.
has no doubt but the Fever was the caused of his Death
