London Informations of Witnesses taken at the
Parish of Saint Sepulchre in the
Ward of Farrington without in
London aforesaid the 26th. day of
January 1789 on View of the body
of Ann Clapton< no role > then and there
lying dead

Alice Haines< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty< no role > 's Gaol of Newgate
maketh Oath and Saith she hath known the deceased Ann Clapton< no role >
about two Monthsthat she was also a Prisoner in the said
Gaol that the deceased has been very ill with a Fever for this twelve days past
that she continued very ill until Saturday Morning
when she departed this Life that she was attended
by the Surgeon of the said Gaol and that she believes
the said disorder to have been the cause of her death
