Informations of Witnesses taken at the parish of
Saint Catherine Cere in the Ward of
Aldgate in London the 30th. day of
December 1788 on view of the body of
Rachael Bottobold< no role > there lying dead.

David Perez< no role > of Woolpack Alley Houndsditch labourer
maketh oath that last Sunday [..] afternoon as Dept was
going from home, the next door to when the parents of the deced
Child lives, a little Girl a cousin of the deceds told Dept her
Cousin was all over fine which occasioned Dept so go into the house
& up to the one pair of Stairs room, at the door whereof he saw
the deced a child about 6 years of age in flames, and dept
endeavoured to take the Cloaths off her. Dept gave an alarm
& some persons came to his assistance with some water, and
extinguished the flames with it. Says two little Girls were
in the room at the same time, and a fire was in the room
That he believes no other persons than the before mentd. two
Little Girls, and an infant in [..] a Cradle besides the deced were
in the house. That the Child died soon afterwards.
