London Informations of Witnesses taken at London, that is to say,
at the Parish of Saint Bridget otherwise Bride in the Ward of
Farringdon without in London aforesaid the 23rd day of December
1788 on view of the Body of Owen Hughes< no role > then and there
lying dead.

Margaret Lewis< no role > wife of Edward Lewis< no role > of the Fleet prison who
being on her oath saith that she hath known the Deceased about a twelve
month that she hath attended him for a fortnight last past during which
time he has been very ill with a Cough and shit much that on Friday
last he became much worse and kept his Bed and had a delirum
andhascontinued getting still worse until Sunday last when he departed this life saith she
believes the cause of his Death to be an inward decay that-he has
never been attended by a Physician nor had any medical assistance but that she hath constantly attended
him from his first illness until his Death
