Southwark

Informations of Witnesses taken at the
Parish of Saint George in the Borough of
Southwark in the County of Surrey on the
9th. day of December 1788 on view of the Body
of Charles Cooper< no role > then and there lying dead

Moses Tubman< no role > -a Prisoner in the House of Correction
in the parish of Saint George Southwark in the County of Surrey
maketh Oath and saith he hath known the deced
Charles Cooper< no role > for about three Weeks past that he was
also a Prisoner in said House of Correction that the deced
appeared very ill when he came into the Prisonthat he
with a Nervous Complaint trembling very much and
complained that he had a violen Complaint in his Bowels
that he continued to get worse until within this fortnight
that a Surgeon was sent for who attended him and sent
him Medicines but the deced continued to get worse
until his death which happened last Saturday
Evening.
