An Inquisition indented taken for our Sovereign Lord un King all the parish of Saint John within the
Borough of Southwark in the County of Surrey on the twenty third day of August in the twenty eighth year of the reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland king Defender of the Faith Etc
before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman Coroner of our said Lord the King for the City of London and Borough of Southwark on said of the
body of Thomas Billingham< no role > now here lying dead by the oath of Luke Davis< no role > Thames's Osburn William Collis John Milles< no role > Isaac Fegall< no role >
Richard White< no role > Henry Rea Daniel Ryder< no role > John Prince< no role > Philip Aris Humas Fielding< no role > William Mills< no role > and David Kay good and lawful
Men of the Borough aforesaid in the County aforesaid who being now here duly chosen sworn and charged do inquite for our
said Lord the King when how and in what manner the said Thomas Billingham< no role > came to his death say upon their oath
that the said Thomas Billingham< no role > then lately before the parish and Borough aforesaid in the County aforesaid accidentally
casually and by misfortune fell into the That Thames and in and with she Waters of the said River was then and there
suffocated and drowned Of which said Suffocation and drowning he the aid Thomas Billingham< no role > then and there died
And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their oath aforesaid do say that said Thomas Billingham< no role > in manner and form
aforesaid accidentally casually and by misfortune was suffocated and drowned In Witness whereof as meet the
said Coroner as the said Luke Davis< no role > the Foreman of the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest of his Fellows in their
presence have to this inquisition set their hand and seals the day year and place first above written.
