Saint Dionis Backchurch
At a Vestry held the 17th. Day of January 1742 .

Mr. Church Warden Fell acquainted the Gentn.
present that this Vestry was called at the Request of Mr.
Daniel Taylor< no role > Oylman an Inhabitant of this parish
And Mr. Churchwarden Fell in his behalf moved for the
leave of this parish to strike our in the side Front of
Mr. Tayler's Dwelling House (late in the Occupation of
Thomas Cart wright pewterer ) a new Light facing the
Tenth Church Yard and adjoining to the Tower or Steeple
such new Light nor to exceed Town Feet in Depth and two
Feet in width and to be upon Sufferance only during the
pleasure of the parish and being seconded the Question
was put on the said Motion and carried in the affirmative
Item. Con.

Ordered that Mr. Daniel Tayler< no role > beat Liberty
to strike out a new Light on th side Front of his dwelling
House facing the Forth Church Yard and adjoining to the
Tower or Steeple, so as such new Light do not exceed four
Feet in Depth and two Feet in width.

Ordered that such new Light be upon Sufferance
only and during the pleasure of this parish.
