Whereas Complaint hath been lately made unto the Dress Crosby Esqr.
Mayor of the City of London and Sir William Stephenson< no role > Knt and Aldermane
of the said City being Two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City
aforesaid and the Liberties there of by Mr. Henry Gretton< no role > late Churchwarden
of the Parish of Saint Dionis Backchuch London that Robert Murray< no role >
being one of the People commonly called Quakers and an Inhabitant
in the said Parish doth refuse to pay such Money as is legally Rated
and Assess'd on him to pay towards the necessary Repairs of the Parish Church
of the said Parish And we the said Justices proceeding according to the
from of the Statute in that Case made and Provided to Examine upon Oath
into the truth of the said Complaint Did by Order under our Hands and
Seals bearing date the 26th day of this Instant July Order and Direct that
You the said Robert Murray< no role > should forth with upon Notice of our said Order
pay unto the said Henry Gretton< no role > the Sum of One Pound and Sixteen Shillings
together with the further Sum of Six Shillings for Charges already sustain'd
for the Recovery of the said Rate And the said Henry Gretton< no role > this day
making Oath before me one of the said Justices that he hath given
Notice of the said order to the said Robert Murray< no role > and that he hath
refus'd to Obey the said Order or any part thereof

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to require you the Churchwardens
of the Parish of Saint Dionis Backchurch aforesaid some or one of you with the
Assistance of a Constable of this City in the day time to Levy by distress and
sale of the Goods and Chattels of the said Robert Murray< no role > the Sum of
one Pound and Sixteen Shillings and also the Sum of Six Shillings for
Charges already sustainted rendering to him the overseers if any be over
and besides the said Sums and the reasonable Charges of making the
said Distress and this shall be your Warrant for so doing Given
under my Hand and Seal the 29th day of July 1771
