Parish of St. Andrew Holborne above Carrs in the County of
Middx and to the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Dionis Backchurch
in the City or London And to Every of them

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by you the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of St. Andrew Holborne above Carrs unto us whose
Hands and Seals are hereunto set, two of His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of
the Peace (Quorum nuns) for the County of Middx aforesaid, That
Sarah Dorsett< no role > wife of Edward Dorsett< no role > and their Child James
Dorsett aged< no role > about one year & a half have
lately intruded themselves into your said Parish of
St. Andrew Holborne Etc there to Inhabit asParishioners contrary to
the Laws relating to the Settlement of the Poor, and are there likely
to become Chargeable, if not timely prevented: And whereas,
upon the Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises,
upon Oath
it appears unto Us, and We accordingly Adjudge, That the said
Sarah Dorsett< no role > & Her said Child James Dorset< no role > [..] are
Likely to become Chargeable unto the said Parish of St. Andrew Holborn
above barrs and that the last Legal Place of Settlement of the said
Edward Dorsett< no role > was in the said Parish of St Dionis
Backchurch in the City of London Whithey by Law
They ought to be sent

There are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, to Order and Require
you the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St. Andrew Holborns above Carres aforesaid, that you, or some
of you, do forthwith Remove and Convey the said Sarah Dorsettt< no role >
Chersd. Child James from your said Parish of St. Andrew Holborne Etc
to the said Parish of St. Dionis Backchurch and them deliver
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true
Copy thereof, whereby they are likewise Required, in His Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Cafe, and forthewith
to receive the said Sarah Dorsett< no role > & her sd. Child James Dorsett< no role >
into their said Parish of St. Dionis & and provide for them
as their own Parishioners Given and our Hands and Seals,
the Fourth Day of February Anno Regm Dndwrd
