Then Mr. William Swanson< no role > and Thomas Hankey< no role >
Esqr . were severally put up to serve the Offices of Collectors
and Sidesmen for the year ensuing and Chose.

Organist
Organ Tuner

Ordered that Mr. John Bennett< no role > be continued Organist
and Mr. George Griffin< no role > Tuner and Cleaner of the Organ.

Sexton
Bellows blower
Parish Warder

John Iselton< no role > was put up and Chose Sexton Bellows-
-blower and Parish Warder, And It was Ordered that Ten
Guineas be given to him as a Gratuity over and above
his Salary for his service during the past year.

Parish Clerk

Ordered that a sum not exceeding Twenty one Pounds
Fifteen shillings be paid to Mr. John Winter< no role > Oswin Parish-
-Clerk for one year ending at Lady day last as a Gratuity
upon Condition that he doth not collect any Money from
the Parishioners in lieu of Wages and that he constantly
discharge the duties of his place.

Engine Keeper

John Iselton< no role > was put up and chose Keeper of the
Fire Engines for the year ensuing.

Overseers

Mr. William Arch< no role > This name instance is in set 1505. (the present Church Warden) Mr.
Maynard Mr. Pope and Mr. Green were severally
nominated to be Overseers of the Poor for the year ensuing.

Auditors

Ordered that Mr. Maynard, Mr. Pope, Mr. Green and
Mr. Barber (late Overseers) Mr. Hudson, Mr. Rutt, Mr.
Hebert Mr. Lem, and Mr. James or any three of them
be appointed Auditors to audit the Account of Mr.
Church Warden Arch the same to be Audited in one
Month after Ascension day.

Gallery Stairs

Ordered that Mr. Hudson be desired to prepare an
Estimate of the Expence of inclosing the Gallery stairs
by a Skreen and that the same be laid before the next Vestry.

Church Gates
and doors

Ordered that it be referred to the Church Wardens
and Overseers to have the Iron Gates of the South Church-
-Yard properly repaired, and that the Church Doors be
painted if to them it should appear necessary.

Then Mr. Church Warden Arch adjourned the Vestry
till another Summons should be issued.
