The Minutes of the last Vestry of the 15th. December
were Read and Confirmed.

Philpot Lane

Then Mr. Church Warden Barber acquainted the
Gentlemen present that this Vestry was held to receive
the Report of the Committee appointed to Let the House
in Philpot Lane in the occupation of Mr. Theed and to
take into further Consideration the state and Condition
of the same, and he delivered in at the Table the said
Report in writing, and also the several Estimates of Mr.
Hudson and Mr. Bedder in the said Report mentioned
and referred to.

Ordered that the said Report be read and the same
was read as follows.

"That the Committee had in pursuance of the Agreem-
-ent made with Mr. Theed, dated the 24th day of April
"1772. given him notice to Quit the Premises on the 5th.
"day of April next.

"That the said Committee had appointed Mr. Thos.
"Hudson and Mr. John Bedder< no role > to meet Mr. Poultney's
"Surveyors to Survey the North End. Party Wall , and that
"they had Condemn'd the same.

"Mr. Bedder's Estimate was
for Bricklayer 's Work NA.}

"That the said Committee had desired Mr. Hudson
"and Mr. Bedder to make their several Estimates of the
"Expence that would be Incurred by taking down and
"Rebuilding the said Party Wall. And that Mr. Hudson's
"Estimate for the Carpenters Work came to the Sum of
"£47..5s..- And. Mr. Bedder's Estimate to the Sum of
"£44..5s..

"That Mr. Hudson< no role > had also delivered in an Estimate
"of the Repairs necessary to be done at the said House
"Bricklayer 's Work excepted, and that the same amounted
"to the Sum of £96..6..

"That the said Committee had applied to Mr. Theed
"to know whether he was willing to Treat for a Lease of the
"Premises, and upon what Terms. And that Mr. Theed had
"made a Proposal to take a Lease for Twenty one Years
"At the yearly Rent of Thirty Pounds. Casualty by Fire
"excepted, and take upon himself the Repairs, provided the
"Parish would defray the Expence of Rebuilding the Party Wall
