Deposit money was
returned to him

he had perused the order of Vestry made the 30th day of
August last for Empowering them to Raise money for Repairs
of the Church by granting Annuity's upon Two or more
Lives and also the Draft of the Intended Bond to Mr Jones
for granting him an annuity for Life which he doubted
was not a Legal Security for that the present Church
Wardens coud not (as he Thought) bind their Successors,
But however he proposed on Behalf of Mr Jones to take
the advice of Council whose opinion with respect to the
Parish Security shoud be laid before the Committe

And then the Committee adjourned

At a Meeting of the Committee Empowered by order

adjournment the 11th day of October 1758.

At this Meeting Mrs Elizabeth Collyer< no role > Did in performance
of her agreement Pay into the hands of Mr Peter Pope< no role > and
Mr Richard James< no role > (the present Church Wardens) for the
use of the Parish the Sum of £198: 19s which together with
the Sum of £1..1:0 by her before paid makes together The
Sum of £200, In Consideration of which Sum of £200
The said Church wardens (By and with the Consent of this
Committee) Did seal and Deliver To the said Elizabeth
Collyer< no role > their Bond of this date for payment to the said
Elizabeth Collyer< no role > or her assigns during her natural Life
One Annuity or yearly Sum of Sixteen Pounds by
Quarterly payments Free of all Taxes and Deductions
