on this Parish by an Act of

Maintainance & Support of
the London Workhouse
, And
after Some Debate It was
Moved that this Vestry should
Impower Mr. Church Warden
Gilly to pay the Money so
Assessed & the Parish to Allow
him Interest for the Same till
repaid. And the Question being
putt it passed In the Affirmative
This Vestry was Summoned by Mr. Church Warden
Gilly relating to An Assessment of the Sum of Thirty five
Pounds charged on this Parish by an Act of Common
Council made in the Mayoralty of
Henry Marshall< no role >
Esqr.
for the Maintainance and Support of the London
Workhouse
At which time he Desired the Gentlemen
present to Consider of Ways and Means for the Payment
and Discharge of Such Assessment And after some
Debate It was then moved that this Vestry should
Impower Mr. Church Warden Gilly to pay the Money so
Assessed for the Support of the London Workhouse
And
the Parish to Allow him Interest for the Same till
repaid, And the Question being putt on the said Motion
It passed in the Affirmative.
Ordered accordingly
Ordered That Mr. Church Warden Gilly be empowered to
pay the said Sum of Thirty five Pounds being the
Money so Assessed for the Support of the London
Workhouse
and charged on this Parish, And that the
said Parish Do Allow him Interest for the Same till
repaid
