The Comittees Report relating
to the purchase of Two new
Fire Engines.

At this Vestry Mr. Church Warden Helment Reported
from the Committee appointed to treat with a proper person
or Persons for the purchase of Two new Fire Engines for the
use of the parish, in the Room of the Old ones, which are decayed
and unserviceable That the Committee had accordingly met
and treated with Mr Newsome for the purchase of Two new Fire
Engines, and had fixed upon them, If this Vestry should agree
thereto, One whereof of the Fourth Size at the price of Forty
three pounds ten shillings, the other a Second Garden Engine,
at the price of Eighteen pounds eighteen shillings.

Then the Gentlemen present took the Report of the
said Committee into Consideration, and after some time spent
therein, came to the following Resolution. Vizt.

The Report agreed to.

Resolved that this Vestry do Agree with the Report
of the said Committee.

Order for the purchase of Two
New Fire Engines, & three
dozen of Bucketts.

Ordered that Mr. Church Warden Helmunt do
forthwith purchase such New Fire Engines, and also three
Dozen of new Bucketts for the parish Use.

And to be paid for out of
£87. 16 3 paid in by Mr
Richd West< no role > the former
Church Warden .

Ordered that the said Fire Engines and Bucketts
be paid for out of the Sume of Eighty Seven pounds, sixteen shillings
and three pence half penny, paid in by Mr. West the former C. Warden.
