At this Vestry Mr. George Scullard< no role > from the Committee
appointed to inquire into the Maintainance and
Management of the Poor of this Parish under the Care of
John Thurckstone< no role > This name instance is in set 984. , and if not duly took cate of to consider
other Way's and Mean's for providing for them. Reported
that he together with the other Gentlemen of the Committee
had enquired into the Matters referred to them at the last
Vestry, and had prepared a Report to with their opinion which
was delivered in at the Table, Ordered, and the Committees
Report with their Opinion be now read, and the same was
read accordingly as follow's. July 29th: 1734.

The Report.

The Report of the Committee appointed by the Vestry of
Saint Dionis Back Church to Examine into the Affair of
the Poor now in the Hands of Mr. Thruckstone.

Anne Russell< no role > reports that she nurst a Child about Six
Weeks old ever since Whitsuntide & performed other
Household Work, & that the Provision is very good, & that
she is noway abused & this Day taken Physick, and hath
Water Gruel< no role > to drink.

Mary Knott< no role > reports that they have no Want of Victuals nor
abused.

Catherine Fleet< no role > reports the same.

Anne Adam< no role > 's reports the same.

James Dorselt< no role > (a Boy) reports the same, but complains he
is not taught to Read.
