downs Southwark & by James Johnson< no role > a Livery Man of this
Company.

Shoe Laine imployed one Hutchins a Foreigner in his Shop
& other places in the City altered by Benj Mills< no role >

Mr. Smith

I am Ordered by the Worshipfull Company of Carpenters to Acquaint
You that Complaint was made against You at their last Court for
Imploying Foreigners to Work for You in the City which is Contrary
to the Law of the City of London

Therefore this is to desire You will Attend the said Company of
Carpenters at their next Court of Assistants which will be held at
the Hall on Tuesday the 6th. Day of February next at 12.
O'Clock to show Cause why You should not be used for as doing
