Memorandum It is this first day of August 1749 Agreed Between the
Worshipfull Company of Carpenter London on the One part And
Thomas Royston< no role > of the Parish of Saint Leonard Shoreditch Dyer of the other part
The said Company do hereby agree to lett to the said Thomas Royston< no role >
All that their Messuage or Tenement lately known by the sign of the
White Hart in Hog Lane And now in the possession of William Pautin< no role > (who has given
Warning to quitt said premises at Michaelmas used)at the yearly Rent
of Twelve pounds and ten Shillings the Rent to be paid Quarterly
to Comence from Michaelmas next for one year and an halffrom
Certain from that time And the said Thomas Royston< no role > doth hereby agree
to take the said Premises of the said Company upon the Above Terms in Late said William
Pautin
< no role > quitts the same at Michaelmas next According to his Notice of
Warning & now paid Mr Renter Warden Steere One Shilling in part of the first
Quarters Rent that shall grow due as Witness his hand the day & year above
