Memorandum It is this 7th. day of May 1745 Agreed Between the
Worshipfull Company of Carpenters London & John Hodges< no role > Jacob Matthews< no role > of Fenchurch
Street London Joiner the sd. Company does hereby Agree to let to said
Matthews all that their Messuage or Tenement with the yard & thud case
in the possession of Authr Child< no role > to Comence from Midsumer next for
one year Certain & half years Warning at the yearly Rent of Ten
pounds payable Quarterly And the sd. Matthews doth hereby agree to
take the sd. premises [..] upon the terms above Menconed & will pay
the Rent of ten pounds P Ann by Quarterly payments Accordingly
& now paid One Shilling to Mr. Warden StedmanAccordingin
part of the first Quarters RentWitness his had the day & year above Written
the said Matthews to Repair the House at his Own Expence &take tonot
Witnessto take away anything thathe should [..] now is fixed or shall be fixed or fastn'd to the premises
when he shall leave the same Witness his hand the day & year Above
