It is this 4th. day of Octr. 1743 Agreed between the Worshipfull Company
of Carpenters and William Thayn< no role > of Norton Falgate Coal Dealer in
Manner following Vizt. the Company doth hereby lett by Lease a Tenement
now in the possession of James [..] Wig [..] actuate in the Liberty of Norton Falgate
at the yearly Rent of £18. payable Quarterly [..] for the term of 14 Years
to Comence from Xmas next but the Sd. Thayne is to Pay half [..]
[..] this Quarters Rent that is from Mistead Day last to Xmas next the Company
to do the Necessary Repairs Wanting And the Sd. Thayne [..] does hereby agree
to Execute a Counterpart of the Lease upon the Terms above mencond
new courted & now paid Mr. Warden Champion One Guinea in part of the Fail Rent
that shall accure due Witness his [..] Mark the Mach of
