It is this 5th. day of April 1743 Agreed between the Worshipfull
Company of Carpenters and John Gandell< no role > of the Parish of all hallows
London Wall Peruke Maker in Manner following that is [..] say
the said Company does hereby agree to lett by Lease to the said John
Gandell< no role > their four sevll. Messuages or Tenements in London will now Lett by Lease
to Richard Jones< no role > but Said Premes are now in the possession of Isaac Kent< no role >
after the Expiracon of Said Jones's Lease which will Expire at Midsumer 1745
for the term of 21 years to Commence from sd. Midsumer 1745 at
at the yearly Rent of five pounds payable half yearly Vizt. Christmas
& Midsumer clear of all Taxes and £100. by way of Fine with all other usual Covenants
in the Companys Leases And the said John Gandell does hereby agree
to take a Lease of the Premes According to the terms above menconed
& will Execute a Counter part of sd. Lease within three Months from
the date hereof & now paid Mr. Warden Cordwell one Guinea in
part of [..] the first Quarters Rent Witness his hand the day & year
