Court day Continued November 7th: 1738

The Pay to the Quarterly
Pentioners to be advanced to
10s P Quarter from Xmas next}

A Motion was also made to advance the Quarterly Payments to the Poor of this Company
Vizt. from 8s Quarter they now receive to 10s a Quarter Thereupon Itt was now Ordered
That the Renter Warden for the time being do pay 10s peice to each Poor Person on every
Quarterly Payment And That the first Payment of 10s a peice shall be paid on the 23d
day of December next

Mrs Barnard to have the
2 Middle Rooms in Mrs
Lee's house & the Clerk to
have rest of the house

Mr Poole the Clerk of this Company and Mrs Barnard the late Beadles Widow acquainted
this Company That Mrs Lee who had been Tennant to this Company many yeares for a little
Tenement adjoyning to the Clerks House was dead And That she had paid her Rent but indifferently
for severall Yeares And That the Company had lost a good deale of Rent by the House Upon
which Mr Poole told the Court That he really wanted more Room for the Carrying on his
business And Mrs Barnard also acquainted the Company That she was in possession of the Two
Middle Rooms in the said House And she hoped the Company would Consider her Case Upon
which the Company Complyed with their Request And Do hereby Order That Mr Poole the
Clerk shall have the Ground Room which was the said Mrs Lee's School Room And All
the other Part of the House (Except the said Two Rooms which the said Mrs Barnard is now
in possession off) Gratis

Mar Osgood to New sett the
Copper Etc in the Clerks
Wash house}

Ordered That Master Osgood do new sett the Copper in the Clerks Wash house and raise the
Pavement to Carry the Water out and do what is necessary to be dene there
