Mr Warden Williams now reported that he had received twenty two pounds sixteene
shillings for halfe a yeares Interest of £1140 East India Bonds due att Lady day last

Bricklayers agreemt. abt
repairing the almshouses
att Godalming }

Mr John Loveland< no role > a Bricklayer att Godalming now appeared and agreed to take twelve
shillings P square for the work to be done att the almshouses att Godalming and agreed to
take twenty shillings for the odd Jobbs to be done there if the Company shall think them well
done

NB:-

The Odd Jobbs are the tops of the Chimneys and the Cresses att the Gable ends

Mr Henry Smith< no role > a Carpenter att Godalming now also appeared and agreed to take eight
shillings P square for Ceiling Gice att the hospitall the Ceiling Gice to be two inches by four
heart of oake workmanshipp and nailes The eves board of oake five inches broad inch and
quarter thick and half inch thick of oake att three half pen to P foot running Workmanship and nailes And as to
other odd Jobbs Mr Smith shall do there he agrees to be paid for as the Company shall think
reasonable when they shall view the same

Tyths & to be allowed
out of Esqr. Kents note}

Att this Court the Clerke read a Letter directed to this Company and signed Samuell Kent< no role >
and therein inclosed two papers purporting to be an account for Tyths and Land tax due for the
Companys house in Lymestreete late in the possesson of Mr Lindsey and the Contents of the said
Letter was for the Company to pay or allow the said tyths and taxes [..] Thereupon and
upon reading the said Letter and Accounts inclosed Itt was now Ordered that the said Tyths & Taxes
should be paid by the said Samuell Kent< no role > & to be deducted and allowed out of a Note of hand
given by the said Samuell Kent< no role > to this Company when the said Note became due
