At a Vestry held in the Vestry Room in the Church on
Thursday the 29th. day of November 1770.

Read the Minutes of the last Vestry, and the Master of the Workhouse
still continuing in such ill state of health, that he is not in the least degree
capable of doing his Duty whereby great inconvenience daily arises to
the Parish and the Churchwarden reporting that the said Master from
Information he has received from the Apothecary who attends the Workhouse
is not likely ever to be able to discharge the Duties of his Office And the Affair
being now taken under Consideration & Debated

Resolved & Agreed that the Churchwardens do forthwith
Advertize in such of the daily News Papers & as often as they shall think
proper for any person capable of taking on him the Case of the Workhouse
of this Parish as Master thereof and Employing the Poor therein may
deliver in proposals to the Upper Churchwarden Mr Taylor any time
between this time and this Day Fortnight to which day this Vestry
is Adjourned for the Election

The Leases to Gladwin, Smith & Pearse not having been
Executed in Mr. Hodgson the late Upper Churchwarden's Life time Ordd.
that Mr Fisher the Vestry Clerk do inform them that they may
have Leases for Twenty years from Lady day last, but must be certain
and a plan of the Grod. to be annexed to each.

Ordered that in future the Arrears on the Poor's Rate Booke
be brought forwards quarterly from time to time into the New Poor's
Rate Books to be Collected by the Overseers.
