Saint Botolph Aldgate in the City of London

Return of the Guardians of the Insant Poor
to the Order of the Committee of the Honorable House of
Commons appointed to Examine the State of the Parish
Poor Children within the City of London and the Subur
there of the 3d. day of this Instant March (vizt.)

The said Guardians Answer - That the Number
of Children received under their Care from their Birth
of Six Years of Age amounts to Two Hundred and
Ninety Seven-That Ninety one of them have
died - That One Hundred and Thirty one of the
have been delivered to their Parents-And that
One Hundred and one Children have been put out
Apprentice from the Age of Six Years and upward
