Elisabeth Gardner< no role > of the Parish of Saint
Botolph without Aldgate in the Said County widow maketh
oath that she knows and is well acquainted with one Arthur
Percival
< no role > late of the Parish of Saint John Wapping in
the Said County Victualler but who now his dangerously
ill in Guys hospital in the Burrough of Southwarke and
therefore Cant Attend to be examined as to his Place of
Settlement That he the Said Arthur Percival< no role > lately lived
in and rented a Dwelling house in the Said Parish of St
John Wapping and lived therein for the Space of Six
Weeks & upwards She this Deponent living With him
in the Said house for all that time When he Quitted
the Same he the Said Arthur Percival< no role > having taken
the Said house for half a Quarter only for which he
was to pay to the Land Lord thereof one Pound and
fifteen Shillings being after the rate of Fifteen
Pounds by the year as he in formed this Deponent
and which She verily believes to be true That it
appears by a Receipt under the hand of Mr Thomas
Carleton
< no role > the Land Lords Rent gatherer & Produced to this
Depont. by the said Arthur Percival< no role > that the Sum of one
Pound fifteen Shillse was paid by the Sd Arthur Percival< no role >
as Rent for the occupation of the Sd house during the Said
half Quarter of a year That the sd Arthur Percival< no role >
hath a Child named John< no role > Aged four years & three Quarters
the lawful issue of the sd Arthur Percival< no role > by his late wife
deced who is become Chargeable to the sd Parish of St
Botolph without Aldgate
