Mary Day< no role > maketh oath that divers
years ago her Father John Day< no role > rented a house of
the yearly Rent of Twelve Pounds in Goodmans yard
Goodmans Fields in the Parish of St Mary Whitechapel
in the sd County & Continued in the occupation thereof
for Three years & upwards & did not afterwards to her
knowledge or belief do any Act to gain anr Settlement
& this Deponent lived there with him as part of his family
That she this Depont. never was bound an Apprentice
nor ever lived as a hired servant for a year in any
one service That she this Depont in the month' of
October one thousand seven hundred & seventy eight
was married to one Thomas Gobby< no role > in the Parish
Church of St Mary Whitechapel aforesd whose Settlemt.
then Appeared upon an Examination taken in Writing
on the oath of the said Thomas Gobby< no role > to be in the
Parish of Saint Dunstan in the East London
by Virtue of his Apprenticeship there with one
Sacheverill Dangerfield< no role > That since such
Marriage So Solemnized between this Deponent
& the said Thomas Gobby< no role > she this Deponent
has been informed by Creditable Testimony and
which she verily believes to be true and in Particulr
by the Copy of a Register of a Marriage alleged
