maketh oath That about nine Years ago this deponents late
Sister Mary Rowley< no role > deced whose Maiden name was Moore < no role > was
married to one John Rowley< no role > in the Parish Church of St Dunstan
Stepney Middlesex being the Third Woman Which the said John
Rowley
< no role > had taken to wife as She this Deponent has been informed
& believes That Since the Celebration of Such her Said Sisters
marriage as aforesd She this Deponent has also been informed
& believes that at the time Such marriage was So had the Said
John Rowley< no role > s Second wife was then living That this Deponents
Said Sister left behind her at the time of her death two Children
by the Said John Rowley< no role > namely John Rowley< no role > aged about two
Years & three Months & James Rowley< no role > Aged about four
months one of Which Children namely John Rowley< no role > was born
in that part of Angel Gardens which lies in the Parish of
St Paul Shadwell Middlesex & the other of them namely
James Rowley< no role > was born in the Workhouse belonging to the
Hamlet of Mile End old Town Middlesex both of Which Children
are become Chargeable to the Parish of St Botolph without
Aldgate Middlesex That about Seven years ago the Said John
Rowley
< no role > the Father took & lived in & rented a house in White Horse
Street in the Hamlet of Ratcliffe in the Parish of St Dunstan
Stepney Middlesex & was Charged to the Kings Tax for the Same
as She this Deponent has been informed & believes & this Deponent is
the rather induced to believe the Same to be true For that She
this Deponent went once with her Said Sister for the Purpose of paying
the Kings Tax for the Sd house on behalf of her Sd Sisters husband when
her Sd Sister went into the house of the proper Collector intitled to receive
the Same & immediately after Came out & produced to this Deponent a
receipt for the Sd Kings Tax under the Collectors hand for the Same
being then paid by her Sister for the Sd house which as this Deponent
now recollects was for half years Tax & this Deponnet has at times
been Shewn other Land Tax Receipts for the Sd house on behalf other
Said Sisters husband and this Deponent has been lately informed that
the Said John Rowley< no role > the Father is lately dead.
