John Andrews< no role > of the Parish of Saint Botolph
without Aldgate in the said County Beadle maketh oath That
he Knows a child now in the Workhouse of the said parish named
Charles Kelley< no role > aged about Six years & five Weeks who as
this Deponent has been Credibly informed & believes was born
in the Parish of Saint George in the said County & this Depont.
is the better induced to believe the Same to be true for that
upon his inspecting the Register of Baptisms of the said parish
of St George & by a Certificate of the Reverend Mr Colby Curate
thereof it manifestly appears to this Deponent That one
Charles < no role > Son of Charles Kelley< no role > Mariner by Mary < no role > his wife was
baptized there January the Twelfth one thousand Seven hundred
& Saventy two being than Thirty two days old and this Deponent
Cannot give any Account respecting the Settlement of the said
Childs Parents or eithr of them

Sarah Green< no role > the widow of Thomas Green< no role >
deced maketh oath That Since the death of her Said late
husband to wit about Three Years ago She this Deponent
took & rented a house of the yearly Rent of Ten pounds in the
Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the sd County &
resided thereon for the Space of one Quarter of a year & paid
Fifty Shillings being one quarters Rent due for the Same &
by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there That She has
not Since been Married nor done any Act to gain a Settlement
Since She rented Such house.
