deced maketh oath that her sd late husband has informed her and
which She believes to be true that divers Years ago he was bound
Apprentice to a Person who kept a Publick house the Corner of
Wapping old Stairs in Wapping Street in the Parish of St John Wapping
in the sd County & who Carried on the Business of a Waterman &
Lighterman & Served three years & upwards of Such his Apprentice
Ship there & then left his sd. Master & went to Sea where his Apprentice
Ship ended That her sd late husband never rented a house of Ten
pounds a year or upwards nor ever Served any Parish office or
paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor ever did any Act to
gain a Settlemt Subsequent to his Apprenticeship to her Knowledge
or belief That She hath a Daughter named Theodosia < no role > aged about
Sixteen years the lawfull Issue of this Deponent By her Said
husband who hath done no Act to gain a Settlemt for herself

oath that her sd husband who is now Absent from her Beyond
the Seas was by birth a Foreigner & never did any Act to this Depts.
knowledge or belief to gain a Settlement in England That about
Thirty years ago She was married at the Fleet to one George
Haddock
< no role > who as he has informed this Depont was duly bound
to & Served three Years & upwards of his Apprenticeship with
his Far. George Haddock< no role > of the Precinct of St Catherine in the sd
County Waterman & afterwards went to Sea where his Apprenticeship
ended That her sd. late husband Haddock rented Part of a house
in Two Brewers alley St. Catherines Court in the sd. Precinct & was
Charged to & paid Kings Taxes for the Same & thereby gained a
legal Settlement there & did not afterwards do any Act to gain
anr Settlement nor has She this Depont Since his death done any
Act to gain a Settlemt for herself Same what She has acquired by
her Second Marriage
