Ann Gates< no role > singlewoman Voluntarily maketh oath
that sometime Ago she was hired and lived as a hired servant by the
year at the yearly Wages of the Six Pounds With sir George Kelly< no role > in the
Parish of Speldherst in the County of Kent and Continued in
such service for the space of one year and upwards & by means thereof
gained a legal settlement there That she this Deponent has not since
lived as a hired servant for a year nor done any Act to gain a subsequent
settlement That she this Deponent hath a Child Aged about four Weeks
born in the Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the County of
Middlesex & Baptized & registred in the Church belonging to the Same
Parish by the name of William Gates< no role > the Which Child is illegitimate
and that one Andrew Brograve< no role > late of Aldgate High Street shopman
did get her with Child of the Said Bastard Child
