in & rented a house of the yearly Rent & Value of Ten Pounds in the
Parish of the Holy Trinity
in the City of Exeter
in the County of Devon
& Continued in the occupation of such house for many years and
by means thereof as this Depont. is advised he gained a legal settlement
there and to this Deponents knowledge or belief he hath not since done
any Act to gain a subsequent settlement That the Said

at such time was part of her Said Fathers Family and that to this
Deponts. knowledge or belief the Said

never did any Act
